Screen donors, draw blood from donors, and other duties to assist the Team Leader in charge.

Special Requirements:

Responsible for driving the extended conversion vans to and from mobile blood drives and the safety of all passengers.  Will load/unload supplies and equipment before and after the drive, seal units of blood, and prepare units of blood for transportation and storage.

Stock and pack supplies and equipment for mobile blood drives.  Clean equipment and order and replenish stock as necessary. Will prepare blood bags on a regular basis (10-15 cases weekly).  Print planning control lists for blood drives. Performs other related duties as assigned and maintains a clean organized work space.

Special Requirements:

Job Requirements:

Responsible for producing and supplying a sufficient amount of blood Bags for all operating facilities in a timely manner.   Assemble blood bags and specimen tubes in accordance with SOP.  Assign proper bag quantities for mobile drives and sub-centers. Replenish needed supplies when necessary.  Store prepared bags for travel.  Maintain a clean organized work space.   

Special Requirements:

(Licenses, degrees held, related experience): High School Diploma or the equivalent required, with some prior healthcare experience. Must be able to properly assemble blood bags and identify any errors.  Must be able to interact with all levels, be well organized and detail oriented.  Ability to meet deadlines and work assignments in an accurate prompt manner.  Excellent customer service, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills required.

Process phone orders, label blood components as ordered and prepare/pack product for delivery.  Document all product orders and deliveries as specified in the Standard Operating and Departmental Procedures.  Route Distribution drivers as required. Position also manufactures components according to Standard Operating Procedures.

Special Requirements:

(Licenses, degrees held, related experience): High School diploma or the equivalent required and some previous experience in medicine or science preferred.  Good customer service and organizational skills, ability to multitask and make decisions required.  Must be able to learn technical material and track work tasks thoroughly in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.  Experience with LifeTrack software a plus.

Responsibilities include delivering blood and blood products to hospitals and other locations.  Pick up blood, samples and paperwork for Centers.  Will deal directly with hospital staff. 

Special Requirements:

Responsible for data entry and integrity of the HR database.  Run reports as needed.  Set up and maintain all employee HR files, store and purge files as appropriate.  Assist with staffing needs, prepare internal postings, external ads and perform reference checks.  Prepare new hire orientation packets, conduct new hire orientation and process new hire paperwork.  Provide benefit support by maintaining adequate supply of benefit information. Assist in job analysis and assist with annual job description updating function.  Provide purchasing support for HR department.  Provide basic guidance on employee relations issues and HR policies.  Conduct annual open enrollment activities and ensure internal communications.  Responsible for event planning; employee appreciation day activities, lunches and meetings.  Develop and type documents, spreadsheets, and manuals, copies, files, and faxes as needed.   Publish the company newsletter on a semi-monthly basis and monthly employee birthday and anniversary lists.

Special Requirements:

(Licenses, degrees held, related experience): High school diploma or equivalent, some college preferred.  Three plus years related Human Resources experience required.  Ability to produce reports, documentation, and communication using employer provided resources such as MS Office suite.
