Join our LifeSavers Platelet Club today! This club rewards our dedicated platelet donors and encourages new and repeat blood donors to try this special type of automated blood donation.  Platelets benefit the most severely ill patients in your community. Qualifying donors can make LifeSavers Platelet Club donations at select Heartland Blood Centers center locations where the specialized equipment used in the process is available; therefore these donations cannot be made at mobile blood drives.

Each time a LifeSavers Platelet Club member reaches a donation milestone, the member is eligible to redeem a reward. Members can earn up to five (5) premium ‘thank you’ gifts (a gift is offered following the 3rd, 4th, 10th, 15th and 20th successful platelet donations). LifeSavers Platelet Club gifts are no longer distributed at Heartland’s center locations.  Gifts are redeemed online at www.membersforlife.org/heartland  or by calling the Heartland Help Desk at

630-301-6183. Items will be mailed via USPS within 4-6 weeks of order date.

Every three seconds a patient in your community needs a life-sustaining blood transfusion. To keep up with the demand in the 12 county area that Heartland Blood Centers serves, 600 pints of voluntarily donated blood are needed every day.
