This Club rewards our dedicated platelet donors and encourages new and repeat blood donors to try this special type of automated blood donation which benefits the most severely ill patients in your community. Qualifying donors can make LifeSavers Platelet Club donations at select Heartland Blood Centers center locations where the specialized equipment used in the process is available; therefore these donations cannot be made at mobile blood drives.

Each time a LifeSavers Platelet Club member reaches a donation milestone, an email alert is sent notifying the member to redeem their online reward. Based on the number of visits which result in a successful apheresis donation, members can earn premium thank you gifts that include a Zippo Candle Lighter, Premium Fleece Pullover, 2GB USB drive, Cargo Trunk Organizer, Flannel Lounge Pants, Portable DVD Player and $75 and $300 VISA gift cards. LifeSavers Platelet Club thank you gifts will no longer be distributed at Heartland’s center locations; redemption is done through the online store only.
