Heartland Blood Centers distributes nearly
4,000 units of blood components each week to treat patients in area
hospitals and in emergencies around the world. This amazing feat
wouldn’t be possible without the help from charitable volunteers
who give their time in order to help blood donors “give the gift
of life.”
Heartland volunteers help with a number of tasks
including:

- Canteen Supervisor
- Pre-drive Scheduler
- Medical Professional
- Donor Recruiter
